This years winter break involved a visit to (no, not the Auckland Art Fair) the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) in Brisbane to see Surrealism: The Poetry of Dreams, on loan from the Musee National d’Art Moderne, Centre Pompidou, Paris. 186 works by 54 artists, the exhibition is well worth a visit. The weather was not bad either!
